Scene: The Tower of Light — Lux's Transformation

by archivist

Vertical composition. The Tower of Light — a spiralling crystalline structure crackling with arcane energy. Dark storm clouds above, pierced by a single column of blinding white light from the tower’s apex.

Inside the tower, the moment of transformation. Lux — originally a young Aasimar man — is caught mid-transfer. His original body floats limply in the air, translucent, angelic wings fading. Below, a massive fire giant body lies on a stone slab, veins pulsing with forced magical energy.

The Magic Jar effect visualised: a stream of soul-light being pulled from the small Aasimar form and forced into the giant. The giant’s eyes snap open — terrified, confused, wrong. The body is not his. The muscles remember someone else.

Around them, runes carved into the tower walls glow with Vecna’s signature green-black energy. This was always part of the plan. The eye of Vecna, barely visible in the shadows of the ceiling, watches the transfer with satisfaction.

The tragedy rendered visible: a young man’s soul, caged in a monster’s body, and the god of secrets smiling in the dark.
