Thornwick

Thornwick

A small market town at the edge of the Greymoor — a vast, fog-shrouded marshland that locals know to avoid after dark. Thornwick survives on trade, sitting at the crossroads between the northern mining settlements and the southern farmlands.

This is a place where people work hard and mind their own business. Strange things happen at the edges — in the marsh, in the old ruins, in the woods — but townsfolk don't talk about them much. There's a practicality here, a determination to keep going despite the oddness that seeps in from the wild places.

Mystery lives in the gaps. Not everything has an explanation. Not everything should.
