Temple of the Dawnfather
by archivist
A modest stone chapel on the east side of the market square, dedicated to the Dawnfather — the god of light, endings of long nights, and promises kept. Brother Aldric tends the place alone. He rings the bell himself at dawn and dusk without fail.
Inside: whitewashed walls, a single altar beneath a sunburst carved in oak, and benches worn smooth by two centuries of knees. A small side chamber serves for confession.
The light holds. The night ends. The word is kept. — inscription above the door.
